Production characteristics

The three main FLAG fisheries have an annual fishing capacity of about 4,000 tonnes of fish for an annual turnover of about € 25,000,000.00. The types of fish are the following:

Strawfish (Local):pink shrimp, cod, octopus, soup, mullet, skate, cuttlefish, squid, monkfish;

Strascico (Ravvicinata):pink shrimp, red shrimp, Norway lobster, mollusc, cod, red mullet, horse mackerel, octopus, John Dory and scorpion fish.

Circulation: anchovy, sardine;

Flying: anchovy, sardine;

Small Fish: cuttlefish, bream, sea bass, red mullet, scorpion fish, cod, sea bream and snapper.
